A New Day

Thinking of titles is the hard part of a blog post. It is similar to coming up with the hook for a song, or a sparkle line. I mean..."A New Day"? Original? No. And yet it IS a new day. It is a truth. So just coming up with something new and different and exciting isn't worth much if what you come up with doesnt have meaning. I went diving into the past this morning. Have you heard of The Wayback Machine? It is/was used to try to capture screenshots of websites. This was years ago...before clouds were really common knowledge. "The Internet Archive was founded: 1996 by Brewster Kahle and Bruce Gilliat. Mission: “Universal access to all knowledge” — to build a digital library of websites, books, audio, video, software, and other cultural artifacts and make them broadly accessible." The Wayback Machine was started around 2001 , I think? So even if there are pages that were posted back twenty years ago and are no longer active, there is a very good possibility that you can find those pages thru use of The Wayback Machine. Something to think about. All of the things you posted, or you signed up for, or commented on...if you know how to search for it, you can find it again. This could be a great memory tool...or it could be a terrible reminder of things you had hoped would never surface. In the beginning God created a perfect world...way back in the beginning. But sin and shame and evil messed a lot of that up. The main thing sin messed up was being able to be in God's presence like Adam and his wife Eve were when they lived in the Garden of Eden. But God had a plan for people to be able to get "way back" to how He meant things to be. That plan was Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only One who can take us back to the beginning....to being able to walk with joy and freedom with God. His sacrifice of His perfect life on the cross as the Son of Man and the Son of God can take us back to a relationship with our Creator!
